This sculpture is actually a made to be a box with a lid... handy for gatherin' small items that might have a tendency to stray!
Since the first casting, from which this picture was taken, I've simplified the patina to a classic medium brown which creates a pleasing finish on this small piece and doesn't lose the relief of the cattle herd going 'round the face of the box. (The new patina is very much like that of "Heads or Tails".)
